This Might Make You Feel Not So Bad About The Price Of Gas

This article in the Left Angeles Times http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-worldgas10-2008jul10,0,2489191.story shows that the United States is not the only victim of the high price of gas.
As usual, Europe has the highest prices such as $9.85c a gallon in Oslo, Norway. The lowest price in Europe seems to be Berlin coming in at a cool $8.68c a gallon.
And where is the lowest prices? Caracas, Venezuela at .12c a gallon. Mexico City has an average of $2.62c a gallon.
The difference between, say, Europe and the United States is that there are areas if the United States that can be drilled for oil. There is only Scandinavia in Europe. And, since they do not seem to mind the taxes that are part of that gallon of petrol, well they continue to pay inflated prices that are not market driven. The United States is more or less paying based on market forces.
It would be something to show to those in congress and those running for president where the price may head to if something is not done and fast.

Do you remember 1978-79? Remember when we had to get gas on odd or even days? That is the future under Sen. Messiah Barack. Remember the infamous SUV comment? Hell, we may be driving the cars that they did on The Flintstones if Sen. Messiah Barack has his way!
