Jim Geraghty over at the Campaign Spot has one line that seems to be used, oh, at least once a week regarding the Dear Leader, President Obama:
"All statements from Barack Obama come with an expiration date. All of them."
And, Mr. Geraghty is spot on because, well it is the truth.
Someone must have asked Mr. Geraghty to compile a list of the statements/promises made by the Dear Leader, President Obama, since he became a presidential candidate in 1961, er 2006.
Well, here it is!
The Complete List Of Obama Statement Expiration Dates.
I do not know how Mr. Geraghty did it. This is a really long list. And to think, the administration is still in it early days!
Because these expiration dates happen with such frequency, I will tell you that my current favorite is the Dear Leader, President Obama's position on recess appointments:
RECESS APPOINTMENTS
STATEMENT: Then-Senator Obama declared that a recess appointment is “damaged goods” and has “less credibility” than a normal appointment. August 25, 2005.
EXPIRATION DATE: March 27, 2010: “If, in the interest of scoring political points, Republicans in the Senate refuse to exercise that responsibility, I must act in the interest of the American people and exercise my authority to fill these positions on an interim basis.”
Hey, and it is not just one or two recess appointments that the Dear Leader, President Obama, made over the weekend but 15. Hey, if you are going to break a statement/promise, go in head first I always say!
It is fun reading.
It shows that Mr. Hopey Changy is not more than a run-of-the-mill corrupt Chicago politician that made it all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D. C.
Oh, the expiration date on that address for the Dear Leader?
January 20, 2013.
