In today's second round of the French presidential elections, the French finally did something right and elected Nicolas Sarkozy to be the next president/He beat Socialist candidate Segolene Royal with 53% to 47% count with over 85% of French citizens voting. It is historic because most observers feel he is more like a Margaret Thatcher leader and that is France needs at this point in its history. Best of all, Mr. Sakozy wants better relations with the United States and that is a good thing. Vive, Sarkozy!
