There Really Are Two Americas For John Edwards

Well, now it is official that former North Carolina Democrat senator, John Edwards, is a hypocrite as he has admitted to having an affair http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=5441195&page=1 that had been first reported by the National Enquierer. But, now that Mr. Edwards went on the ABC Nightline confessional with reporter Bob Woodruff, well it is believable because it is in the DDBMOWA media.
I guess that since Mr. Edwards tells Mr. Woodruff that he began the affair after his wife, Elizabeth, had her cancer go into remission it makes it some how A-OK. What a creep!
And of course the trustworthy former trial lawyer claims that the child that the woman has is not his. Oh, but he has not taken a paternity test. How lawyerly of him.
During his latest foray into trying to get the Democrat nomination for president, Mr. Edwards railed about the "two Americas", you know the rich and the poor. The healthy and unhealthy. The people who keep their marriage vows and those that don't. Oh, I'm sorry I did not hear that last one. I guess that would be too "judgemental".
Since having affairs is one of the few bipartisan issues, I ask this question.
What is it about these creeps that think they can cheat on their wives, who have so much to endure anyway in a political campaign, and no one should care?
Because we are losing that good, ol' fashioned "judgementalism".
It used to be that these kind of politicians did these things and did everything to keep it under wraps. Now, with the internet, peeping photographers and people's general vouyerism, it can not be done.
Nor should it be done.
We need to send a message. If you can't keep your marital vows, what makes us so sure that you can keep any of the promises that you tell us?
And yes, it does go to charecter. And yes, it does matter.
The creepiness of Mr. Edwards is that he even considered doing what he did while his wife was enduring treatment for cancer. It shows an unbelievable selfishness on his part. And a clear narcissism.
I am glad this guy did NOT get far into the presidential sweepstakes. He makes Sen. Messiah Barack seem like he has great judgement by comparison.

As if we needed proof he was smarmy ass-wipe. I've disliked him since the first time I heard him speak.
