Ralph Peters Hits The Nail On The Head About The Russian Bear

Once again, the brilliant military columnist for the New York Post, Ralph Peters, hits the nail on the head regarding the Russian military assault on the Republic of Georgia http://www.nypost.com/seven/08122008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/russia_goes_rogue_124032.html
I can not add anymore to Mr. Peter's commentary except that the response of the Bush administration is not one of the finer moments.
And, the United States must be willing to stand up for the democratically elected government in Georgia or the Russians will think that they will have carte Blanche to reinstitute the old Soviet empire.
