It appears that with a new Chair in Michael Steele, the Republican party is ready to rumble as evidenced in this interview.
Mr. Steele is going to try to take back the New York state 20th congressional district seat vacated by now Sen. Kristin Gillibrand, and the state houses in New Jersey and Virginia.
Without a doubt, all three look better than 50-50, especially the New York state House seat. And, if the economy is not looking up at election time, the governor's in New Jersey and Virginia can go right back to the Republicans.
And that could be a prelude to the 2010 midterm elections.
With Mr. Steele at the helm of the Republican National Committee and his aggressive style, it is the tonic that the tepid Republicans need as they go up against the President Obama juggernaut.
It should be fun!
