The Lord is risen!
The Lord is risen, indeed! Alleluia!
Today is Easter or Resurrection Sunday, the day that Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples and fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies.
For Christians, it is the holiest day on the calendar. Yes, Christmas gets all the publicity and it is important. But this is the reason that Christians believe in what we do. That with God, all things are possible. That a man can be born of a virgin, die on a tree and three days later come back to life.
Yes, it is something that can not be logically explained. But it is all about having a faith to believe such things. At some point in all of our lives, I believe, God will make it all clear to us.
In the meantime, I leave you with this from the New Testament:
Christ is risen from the dead,
and become the first fruits of them that slept.
For since by man came death,
by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die,
even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
I Corinthians 15: 20
May this be a blessed, Happy Easter to all!

Hey Mark, Happy Easter, and for once I won't bash religion :)
You brought up that point I've always found really interesting. Easter is that day of truest Christian meaning, the day that celebrates what Christianity is. But Christmas gets all the attention. Why is that I wonder?
