And yet, we are told there is something called Global Warming. Or as it is correctly called here at Right View From The Left Coast, Globaloney Warming.
The above headlines are from the Drudge Report.
I suppose being in sunny, warm Southern California, I should buy into the Globaloney Warming scam. I do not. And I think that the reality is, more and more people are, dare I write this, Globaloney Warming Deniers.
Sure, now the proponents use a catch-all phrase, Climate Change. They think, gee maybe people will believe that one.
Well, duh!
Of course there is climate change.
Take where I live in Southern California.
This was almost all desert but a mere 100 years ago. The climate was rather dry. Then more people moved in. Adding more vegetation, adding something called humidity. Now this climate is not quite a desert any longer. Hence, climate change.
But is it a bad thing? Again, not necessarily.
What the advocates of Globaloney Warming/Climate Change want to do is blame human achievement and send us back to a dark age kind of living.
And yet, when I read those headlines, I hope that the people enduring the cold have enough heat to stay warm. And in some cases, alive.
So, read those headlines-and stories-and come back later to lecture on Globaloney Warming/Climate Change

Doesn't it seem like there is ALWAYS one group or another that believes, for various reasons, that we'd all be better off living as our ancestors did?
Must be something in human nature that blinds them to the horrors our ancestors had to survive for us to reach this level of civilization.
