It appears that the Republican presidential and vice-presidential nominees have gotten a huge bounce since the end of the Republican National Convention this past Thursday. The largest bounce appears in the USA Today/Gallup poll which shows Sen. "F--- You" McCain and Gov. Palin leading the Democrat presidential and vice-presidential nominees, Sens. Messiah Barack Obama and Blowhard Joe Biden, 54% to 44% among likely voters.
The Zogby Poll, sometimes seen as not all that reputable, has the Republican team up, 50%-46%.
And the Rasmussen daily tracking poll has the race dead even at 48%-48%.
This is huge news and since the end of the GOP convention, Team Obama has been very much put of the defensive.
With new poll numbers at least on the presidential side beginning to favor Republicans, the congressional Republicans have to find a way to translate the momentum to their campaigns.
In a sense, the congressional GOP has to run this year like it is 1994.
Between that and the rejuvenated presidential hopes, this may not turn into a Democrat year after all.
