Say, Can Obama EVER Be Mocked?!

You know the rules of presidential bashing change from administration to administration I suppose.
For instance, none of the late night talk show hosts dared to mock the current occupant of the White House, the Dear Leader, President Obama, during his first term.
Fast forward to the early days of term number two for the Dear Leader, President Obama.
Now the host of The Tonight Show, Jay Leno, finds it safe to diss the Dear Leader, President Obama, so much that he is a guest on The Tonight Show last week. Even David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon feel a little OK to throw in a diss or two.
Now lets go back to the George W. Bush administration.
It was not that long ago. It ended on January 20, 2009 at 12 noon, Eastern Standard Time.
Yet for eight years, the steady drumbeat of Bush bashing hit lows that are beyond low. Here is one depicting Mr. Bush as a vampire

OOOOHHHH!!!!! So scary! George W. Bush the vampire taking a chunk out of Lady Liberty's neck! Should throw the whole Village Voice in jail, right?
Say, do you remember all the jokes about Mr. Bush being a monkey?
Why even supposed news reporters like Erin Burnett referred to the 43rd president as a monkey and while she apologized, it did not end her lively hood. In fact, she is now a major player at CNN. Yeah, really Miss Burnett should be unemployed at the least and maybe jailed for treason.
And who can forget this gem of a movie made while Mr. Bush was president, Death Of A President. You know that this was the movie about . . .the assassination of President Bush. And of course it was not condemned at all. It attained critical acclaim. Nah, it really should have been so condemned that a hit squad should have gone after all involved in the movie, right?
We must endure this bit o' history because now that we are deep in the Age o' Obama, the rules have certainly changed.
Pretty much any criticism of or joking at the Dear Leader, President Obama's expense is . . .wait for it . . . RAAAAACISM!
Remember, there are five A's in RAAAACISM!
What else to explain what happened recently at the Missouri State Fair in which a clown donned an Obama mask? Now to be fair, the clown did not just put on the mask, but whipped the crowd up asking if they wanted to see a bull chase him in his Obama mask. And the crowd went wild and did want to see that.
So lets go through some things.
This is Missouri, not exactly Obama Country. The Dear Leader, President Obama, lost here in 2008 and 2012. In 2012, the result? The Dear Leader, President Obama, lost 44% to 54%. This is the State Fair and not held in a town like Kansas City or St. Louis. These are conservative people, by and large. And yeah, not inclined to like the Dear Leader, President Obama.
It was a perfect storm, so to speak.
And the person that notified the media, he clearly had an axe to grind because he did not like the event and the clear animus against the president. For Perry Beam spoke about it to a lefty blog, Show Me Progress. So he is not an innocent bystander in all of this.
In wake of what was meant to be humor, there is a helluva lot of collateral damage.
For one the clown who is either unidentified or one Tuffy Gessling is banned for life in participating in any events at the state fair. And the announcer of the rodeo event, Mark Ficken, resigned from his post as president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association so that he can explain that it was not him but the clown whipping up the crowd.
And the wrath of the left?
Well, it is up and running.
It is so bad that the Missouri NAACP, which FTR the C is for Colored, is calling for the Department of Justice and the Secret Service to investigate this horror.
I think that Byron York at the D. C. Examiner has this right.
It is a two-fold situation in which some people are uncomfortable that the Dear Leader, President Obama, was so disrespected and ridiculed at a family event. On that I agree. Maybe the real problem, to me, is that this was interjected at an event that is probably attended by people of all walks, not just Republicans, conservatives and Obama-haters. And yes, some people took it to mean that the perception would be cool to see the Dear Laeder, President Obama, chased down in a violent manner by a bull.
Where I get ruffled is that somehow, any mockery and or criticism of the Dear Leader, President Obama, is taken so seriously by his supporters and sycophants. While eight years of abuse, even hoping the assassination of the then sitting president, George W. Bush is shrugged off.
And I hate the race card being thrown in as well.
Most of us that do not like the Dear Leader, President Obama, and to be clear it is his policies, do so because we don't believe that it will be good for the United States. The fact that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is mixed race, sorry but he is not all Black but had a White mom, is beyond secondary for me. Could care less that he is what he is. He is a child of God. Race is irrelevant.
I must ask where was all this outrage when Mr. Bush was assaulted in ways much, much worse than the Dear Leader, President Obama, even hopes to be? Was the Missouri NAACP calling for an investigation into the makers of the movie Death Of A President? Was not not a potential idea for a terrorist or a whack job?
I will be the first to note that I took offense to some of the outrageous assaults on Mr. Bush. But there were really and truly so many. I tried to stay away from those that were just a bit trivial. It is why I always refer to Mr. Obama as both the Dear Leader, a mocking of his cult of personality, and as President Obama because even though I did not vote for him, he is my president. I do respect the office and yes, the man who is the current occupant. But many of those who hated Mr. Bush would not even call him president. They did not like the outcome of the 2000 election so much that they could not respect the constitutional outcome. And for the record, I loved the late comedian, Steve Bridges, who did the greatest impersonation of Mr. Bush ever.
Having fun at any president's expense is always a fine line. Mocking and ribbing is all but an American birthright. But this administration can not take anything that dares to do any of that. It is true. The fact that the NAACP believes that the clown in the Obama mask should be investigated is a sign of the times.
I hope that when all of this dies down, the clown will be allowed to participate in the Missouri State Fair. He did nothing wrong. There need not be any investigation of any kind.
What is needed is not to change the rules of criticizing and or mocking the President of the United States no matter who he or she is. Period.

Carnage In Connecticut

UPDATE:

It is not often that I will praise anything written in the Left Angeles Times. And much less from one James Rainey. But here, on this occasion, he addresses the main thrust of this post. The poor reportage of the media in misidentifying the the killer. The internet and social media are truly great tools, but that does not replace the point that facts need to always be corroborated by at least a second source. Especially in situations such as this. And before anyone goes off blaming Fox News or anything like that, numerous media got it wrong and all over the spectrum. Mr. Rainey's article is worth the read.

Good Lord Almighty.
What can I or anyone else say about this horrible crime that took place today in Newtown, Connecticut?
Look, we know that the left is already salivating and pushing gun control and the right is saying not so fast.
That is for another day and time.
However, I believe that, once again, the media committed gross media malpractice in trying to get the story out and for some, to be first.
For hours, the media reported that the shooting rampage was done by one Ryan Lanza. Yet it was not RYAN Lanza, but his brother, ADAM Lanza that killed 28 people, his mother and himself.
Why is that important? I mean, so they got a name wrong, no big deal because the story was running fast and furious?
Well, no matter how fast and furious a story is breaking, it is always, always important to get important facts such as who committed the act right. Thus, it should not have been reported that the shooter was Ryan Lanza when it was his younger brother Adam that committed the dastardly deed.
If there is one thing that I learned in journalism classes and has stuck with me is why the what, when, why, who and how is important in every story. And how important it is to have multiple verification of information before going public with it.
Remember the Aurora, Colorado movie house shooting? Remember when the name James Holmes was announced? Well the first James Holmes that ABC news reporter Brian Ross picked out of his rump was one connected with the Tea Party political movement. And he reported it on the air. Yet he did not act with due diligence as it turned out the James Holmes was a mentally ill graduate college student.
Now many people will point out, and I do think that this may be true, that Mr. Ross focused on a potential Tea Party angle in an effort to discredit the conservative political movement. But whatever the case, an innocent man's reputation was at the very least tarnished and possibly something more negative than that.
Same for Ryan Lanza.
As it turns out, Adam Lanza somehow had identification that he was Ryan Lanza on his person.
But again, how did it get reported and reported wrong in the first place?
And this leads to another criticism that I have about reporting blatant criminal activity.
The use of the word tragedy over murder.
Usually, I do not like that kind of wording but this story, well it is different.
Twenty children, a whole classroom, were murdered in cold blood by Adam Lanza. Because it was elementary school children, yes it does make it  a horrific tragedy.
In this case, it is correct to use the word tragedy. Yet it should be also reported accurately that this was an act of murder. That a young man, whether or not he had a mental disability problem, did have the presence of mind to kill his mother in cold blood, steal her car, drive to the school that she taught at and kill the school principal, several other adults and the 20 children. This man, Adam Lanza murdered 27 people before killing himself.
So I would suggest that while the culprit of this act is dead, let us not simply refer to his crime as a tragedy. It cheapens the fact that he committed murder of defenseless, innocent people.
And now I have other thoughts.
No parent get their kids ready in the morning for school and thinks that it is possibly the last time that they will see their kid alive. No doubt these parents, husbands and wives, did not think that when they said goodbye and went off on their day.
Yet in the span of several minutes, one deranged individual killed people and ruined countless lives.
It is why I utterly believe that we should always remind the people closest to us that we love them. In my case, I always tell Mrs. RVFTLC every day as I leave for work that I love her. And in most of our e-mail correspondence to each other, the same thing. These kind of events remind me even more how important that is.
It is also very, very important for all of us to take a deep breath, mourn for those dead and those left behind and not spout off on how this could have been prevented.
There is a time and place for that but no way and not in the hours and immediate days of this murderous rampage.
And one more last thought.
Hold on to your hats, but I thought the statement from President Obama he gave at the White House was not only appropriate but clearly that of a caring, loving father. There was nothing political in it. I felt that this one was from the heart. I think it important enough to leave you with this video link to see it.
May God bless those lost. May God bless those left behind. May God bless Nancy Lanza. May God bless the people of Newtown, Connecticut.

Losing This Election Sucks

Hmm, I probably should stop with the headline, but it is true.
Losing this election to the Worthless Leader, President Obama, really does suck.
I mean really, what did it come down to for many people?
That Hispanics feel so alienated from the Republican party that they will go with the guy that really in a bad sense wants to keep them down?
That people really think a photo-op and just showing up after a hurricane hits New Jersey and New York is awesome?
That people believed that even after George W. Bush being out of office for four years the bad economy is still his fault?
That the Republicans did not make a hard enough case not just about replacing the Worthless, ah the heck with it, President Obama but what they had to offer and why it would be better?
Coalition politics really do work?
There are a lot more questions to ask but generally, yes to all of the above.
While I do believe that illegal immigration should not be rewarded, the reality is that we Republicans, and I include myself, have not emphasized enough that a reality is that some people who did come into the United States illegally will have to be given an oppertuinity to stay. But any deal has to have the reality that the reason there is mass illegal immigration in the first place, especially from Mexico and yes, Red China, is because of the condidtions in the home country. And that the United States must have stronger border security. Period. We can not be snookered like last time. It must be real and implemented.
We have to do a lot better explaining that to all people, but especially Hispanics and Chinese/Asian Americans. And until we do, well it is going to be hard to win elecions anywhere.
Hispanics want to be part of the United States. They really do. And so many are very much proud to be Americans. Even the many that came here illegally. I do think that a lot of rethinking that is going to be needed. I do not pretend to know the answer. It is not blanket anmesty, thats for sure.
A photo-op or two should not be a determining factor in voting for anyone.
But it was for President Obama.
It just looked awesome to many people that he showed up, had that concerned look on his face, hugged a few people and standing next to Gov. Chris The Cow Christie, a supposed Republican, well for many people that was enough a reason to vote for President Obama.
I don't get it really. I mean, it is an unwritten part of the job description to show up to such things and assure the populace that all will be done to help. I suppose it all gets back to the infamous Hurricane Katrina and the rather sucessful narrative of an uncaring then President George W. Bush. Nevermind that the then mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, and then Gov. Kathleen Blanco were both telling Mr. Bush that they did not need any assistance. Until it was too late.
However, it does run into a fact. That people want a leader that they feel they can relate to. And until the dreaded Katrina, a lot of people thought that Mr. Bush did relate to them. Wanna know why there is not a President Kerry? Because Sen. John F. Kerry could not connect to people.
And here is a bipartisan memo.
No more presidential nominees from Massachusetts.
Michael Dukakis, John Kerry for the Dems and now Mitt Romney for the Republicans. All three are now losers and shows that Massachusetts governance is still too much for most Americans. And while Mitt Romney was more technocrat than anything, he was a Republican and reasonably conservative. But, that almost cost him the GOP nomination and in the end, the White House.
The economy still being W's fault?
It is the biggest stretch, but Team Obama has dipped into that well sucessfully time and time again. And it keeps working.
But I think it is more of an overall attempt to create hatred of the eeeeevvvvviiiiilllll rich.
The Bushes, the Romneys. Eeeeevvvvviiiiilllll rich people. Oh sure there are more,  but they stick out.
And when it is down to the gutteral, street-level fight of "us vs. them", sorry folks, the Dems have that corner down. It is in a sense the whole reason for their being. Never mind that the eeeeevvvvviiiiilllll rich that they skew and roast over the coals are in fact more in line with them than Republicans.
And a news flash.
Big business ain't Republican and certainely not conservative. It goes with whoever will do their bidding.
What we need to do is teach what conservativsm and conservative principles are about. Most people do not have a clue. If you look at it through the prism of partisan politics, then yes it can be hard to realize that many people are, indeed, much more conservative that they even realize.
Don't get me wrong. Elections are important. But it can only do so much. The culture in many bad ways is changing. In other ways it has improved. It is not all one or the other. \
But that leads to coalition politics.
Sorry, but that does work. And it has for both sides and especially in the last 12 years.
In the end, Team Obama got it together and they went to work. Team Romney? They were fighting it out over a primary season in which, quite sucessfully, Team Obama defined him and he did nothing to refute it.
You may not like their coalition. I don't. But we have to study that and learn from it. One other thing is that, once again, the GOP just does not get how to attract the youth. The youth are hyper-tech savvy. Team Obama knows it and has been able to use it and keep them for now in their camp.
For now? What do I mean?
Because my friends one thing to learn in the last 20 years is that elections are a cyclical thing. And by the end of the eight years of Obama, the nation will be ready to try something new. Some of that coalition that Team O built will not be able to be kept on the Democrat plantation. Blacks may not feel as anxious to vote as they have in the last two elections. In fact, while their coalition was kept together, a lot of people did not seem to be engaged as voting was down all accross the board.
Many of the groups in the current Dem coalition will tire. And with the right candidate, it is possible that in 2016, the Republicans can take back the White House.
A lot of people are just going to scream that the Republicans are going to just have to chuck all that makes them Republicans and become Dem lite.
I see that from my lib Facebook friends.
But that is not as much the issue as perception.
When we nominate candidates that can not articulate their positions in a clear and coherent manner, as I always say, people will vote for the devil they know, the Dems, rather than what they are not sure about, the GOP.
John McCain and Mitt Romney are the latest to not get it.
It is not just about messaging but what the hell do they believe. Why did they run for president in the first place.
There is more to say on all of this.
But for now, the honesty of today is simple.
Losing this election sucks.

Is The Latest Bain Capital Attack On Mitt Romney The Left's Birther Moment?

OK, I start this with an admission. That I am NOT an expert about the latest kerfuffle in the 2012 presidential campaign between the Democrat, the Dear Leader, President Obama, and the presumptive Republican, Mitt Romney.
What I believe this is about is whether or not Mr. Romney was really still in charge and actively involved in day-to-day affairs with Bain Capital when he left the company he helped found in 1999 to beginning his tenure as the CEO of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics organizing committee. This recent article in the Boston Globe, not exactly a Mitt-friendly fish-wrap, seems to have set the left and even Team Dear Leader itself in a titter.
Now, we've got him! See, he WAS still with Bain Capital as it was outsourcing jobs! And he has lied about it too!
This is why Team Dear Leader has been hammering away at Mr. Romney about his time with Bain. That if he was just on a leave of absence, then he was still involved in someway with Bain when it was investing in companies that were "outsourcing" jobs that were in the United States to other nations.
The Globe article itself seems to have some contradictions about the extent of Mr. Romney's potential tenure at Bain beyond February 11, 1999. That is when he left Bain and became the full time SLCWO CEO.
And that is making what would seem to be something nefarious into more of a lot about nothing.
I think that this is going to prove to be the left wing version of the so-called Birther movement.
It started out, by sheer coinkidink, as part of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in 2007. And it continued long after she was defeated for the Democrat presidential nod in 2008 and up to this day. And even after the Dear Leader, President Obama finally got all the political mileage he thought he could get out of it, he produced the Hawai'ian birth certificate. And that is not enough. And it has strayed from a simple potential constitutional crisis-one HAS to be born in the United States to be eligible to be a president-to way too much minutia to be taken with any amount of seriousness.
That is where this potential is heading.
While there maybe some thing about the fact Mr. Romney was listed as “sole stockholder, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president”. until 2002, one has to read this to realize that it may be more a formality than he was really running the company and saving the Salt Lake Olympics from bankruptcy:

“Due to the sudden nature of Mr. Romney’s departure, he remained the sole stockholder for a time while formal ownership was being documented and transferred to the group of partners who took over management of the firm in 1999,” Bain Capital said in a statement Thursday. “Accordingly, Mr. Romney was reported in various capacities on SEC filings during this period.”

The above is taken directly from The Globe story. And also in the story, the above was accurate according to FactCheck.org. Also, there are many supporters of the Dear Leader, President Obama, who are currently with Bain that say Mr. Romney did leave the company in 1999 and that it was a paperwork nightmare to cut all his ties to the company. The thrust of it is here at HotAir.com courtesy of Captain Ed Morrrissey.
A real scandal, especially a political one, usually is exacerbated by a cover up. Ask the late Richard Nixon. Or if you want a living former president, maybe William Jefferson Blythe Clinton will do.
But there does not seem to be as much a cover up as a very confusing set of circumstances. None indicate that Mr. Romney was someone sitting in the Bain Capital headquarters, growing a Snidely Whiplash moustache, twirling it around at the thought of outsourcing American jobs. Or really anything else connected with the day-to-day running of the company.
Thus I think that Team Dear Leader, courtesy of a ever so slight hit piece by The Boston Globe, is not on to much of anything.
That if it does continue, with no results, it starts to look like the left has found its Birther movement.

High Gas Prices A-OK! A Cover Story In Today's Left Angeles Times

Hmm, I read this article with a great deal of curiosity because I just do not see what planet this writer, Jerry Hirsch lives on.
So I read the Left Angeles Times article two more times.
And a reality hit me square in the face.
The article about a supposed lack of anger about rising gas prices is a cover and flack piece to inoculate the Dear Leader, President Obama, and his abysmal energy policies.
So in reading this article twice, I think that some of it is accurate at least in this part of California.
We always are just behind Hawai'i in some of the highest gas prices in the United States no matter what.
And yes, as Lara Clayton told the Times writer, she has adjusted her ways around the spike in gas prices. And one of those ways is just cutting back on driving.
Same thing happened in 2008, the last time gas prices took on this kind of rise in price.
Granted it is not during the peak driving season from Memorial Day to Labor Day. But the rise in energy prices is the most for this time of year. And it is not just the price for a gallon of gas. But in the East coast where many depend on it, the cost of home heating fuel is part of this rise as well.
And while the article focused entirely on the gas prices, a little balance would have pointed out that it contributes to the rising cost of food and basic staples we depend on. The cost of transportation to get said items to market is also up as well. But, this administration has cooked the books to make it appear that there is little if any inflation.
The federal government will suggest that inflation is about 1.5 to two percent. However according to the American Institute for Economic  Research, make that about about eight percent. And what is one of the driving forces behind it?
The cost of fuel.
In the Times article, the writer quotes a Michael Sivak from the University of Michigan basically saying hey, we can handle $4 a gallon gas prices. Why in fact when you count in inflation we are really only paying $3.72c a gallon as opposed to 2008.
I love when they throw that out there. As if we are supposed to feel better. Since it is 2012 and we are paying the high gas prices now.
But Mr Sivak goes on to suggest that American drivers are in better, more fuel efficient cars. And that somehow in four years it is so good that people just do not seem to be so concerned about the gas prices.
Hmm, I kind of think that is hokey reasoning, but K.
I like the fact that Mr. Sivak is honest to admit that once gas prices hit $5 a gallon, people ain't gonna be that complacent.
Now, since it has not hit $5 a gallon anywhere.
Oops! My bad! I kind of fibbed up there. Because here in California, yes one can find $5+ a gallon gas.

Here is the gas station at Wawona in Yosemite National Park. As of Tuesday, March 28, 2012, this was the price of a gallon of gas.
You read that right.
$5.11c for one gallon of petrol.
And yes, we were forced to pay for it. And yes, we did not put as much in the tank as we normally would while travelling. We decided to put just enough in the tank that would get us to eventual civilization and the city of Riverbank near Modesto. It was almost a full buck less there at the local ARCO.
Now one could say that since there are only two gas stations in the park they kind of can do this. But what happens when this becomes the price in say, I don't know, any given American suburb? Or a city in the Heartland?
You get the picture.
The interesting aspect is how the writer was able to focus on clearly complacent people in the article. It seems that he could only find one person to kind of suggest that the whole theory of "Ah, no big deal" is, well bunk.
And leave to Jamie Court, president of Consumer Watchdog to state the obvious. And yeah, Consumer Watchdog is a lefty group. But even they can be like a broken clock, right twice a day.
Mr. Court says that maybe after a while $4 or $5 a gallon of gas does not seem to be a big deal if it happens enough. But that there is trouble brewing beneath the seeming resignation to the high cost of fuel.
But why? I mean everything is rosy now in the economy, right? I mean, people are working, there is little if any inflation, right?
Well, if you care to actually dig deep you will find that the United States economy is still in the dumper. And yes, one of the reasons is high gas prices.
But we can't really be mad as we were when the eeeeevvvvviiiiilllll George W. Bush was president in 2008, right?
We should be as mad because this is as bad and can get much worse before it gets better.
And even a flack piece like the one presented in today's Left Angeles Times can not cover up the reality that this can and will get worse.
And that will fall squarely on the shoulders of the Dear Leader, President Obama.

I Would Like To Apologize For Our Dear Leader, President Barack Hussein Obama

Since the United States army made the act of burning Islamic holy books, the Koran, recently, our Dear Leader, President Obama, felt the need to apologize for the action.
The thanks for such an action is that so far four United States soldiers have been killed by Islamic fanatics in Afghanistan.
But that is another post.
Because the leader of this nation felt the need to apologize before all the facts were in, once again, I must offer my apology.
And so, here it is.
I, on behalf of the 46 percent of Americans that did not vote for the Democrat presidential candidate in 2008, do apologize to the American people. No, check that.
The world for the 53 percent of my fellow countrymen, and women, who did vote for the President of the United States, the Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama.
I feel the need to apologize because I am rather embarrassed for our Great Land.
That the highest elected representative claims to speak for me and yet, he rarely does.
The fact is that some of those 53 percenters are having doubt of what their vote has wrought on the Great Land is a good thing. Hopefully they will remember their angst come November.
But this apology is not complete without a list. A list of what the President of the United States, the Dear Leader, President Obama, hath wrought on our nation.
The list is very large so I will just hit the highlights.
I am sorry, on behalf of the 46 percent and our new friends and allies for the following actions of the Dear Leader, President Barack Hussein Obama.
First, I am sorry that the president has ran up $4,000,000,000,000 in the national debt in this, his first and God willing only term as president. I am really sorry to those that I will never know that will have the burden of paying off this abomination.
And that is not counting the record deficit that this president has run since becoming president in 2009.
I am sorry that under the Dear Leader, President Obama, unemployment rose to staggering numbers. That it was as high as 9.3% and only now is beginning some signs of improvement at 8.5%. Yet it was our Dear Leader, President Obama, that promised if congress passed his $700,000,000,000 so-called "stimulus" bill that unemployment at this time would be below six percent.
I call that fuzzy math.
I am sorry that Obamacare has passed and that we are now finding out what is in it to quote that wretched former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. I am sorry that it will not do what we were told. But I will not say "I told you so."
I am sorry that our president still has a hate for us 46 percenters.
You do not think so?
Well, he still has a hard time dealing with us bitter clingers. You know those of us that cling to our guns (not that much for your humble blogger) and our Holy Bibles (yes, I do!). Every so often, a condescending comment is made as if we are just kidding.
To illustrate the point I reference this article about our Dear Leader, President Obama, doubting a woman's story about the difficulties of her husband attaining a new job.
Nothing like talking down to the people, I always say!
Those are some domestic highlights.
On foreign affairs, I just want to apologize for our Dear Leader, President Obama, actually doing the right thing in ordering the killing of Osama bin-Laden. I know that many are just grief-stricken by that. And I am sorry for all the other killings of terrorists that he has ordered be done. I am sorry that he was actually protecting our country above all else.
While I am being tongue-and-cheek above, I am really sorry that because of inept people, we may end of being on the wrong side of the so-called "Arab spring". I am sorry that we may have tossed aside one bad set of players for an even worse set of players in the Islamic Arab world.
I am sorry that we have left the Iraqi people high and dry and on their own.
I am sorry that we see, to be interested in, well apologizing an awful lot in our foreign dealings under this president.
The good news is that this apology can be a meaningful one soon.
The full effect of this apology should be us 46 percenters convincing some of those we know, and we all know someone, who voted for the Dear Leader, President Obama, last time to vote for the Republican candidate this time around. Hence, these are our new friends and allies.
Defeating the Dear Leader, President Obama, is the only way to have this heartfelt apology mean anything.

The Dear Leader Is Down With Jesus Because He Wanted Taxes Raised

Today, the Dear Leader, President Obama, gave a blatantly political speech at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D. C.
What a surprise you might say.
Or not.
At what is usually an innocuous event that presidents have spoken at since President Eisenhower was the first in 1953, the Dear Leader, President Obama, used biblical passages to make the case for bigger government.
But before dissecting that part of the speech, I do want to commend the president on the fact that he is not ashamed to be a man of prayer. And how he found Christ. That is a powerful story.
However, he did not mention that the church that he "worshipped" in for 20 years, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago is a black-separatist church. Or that when he somehow realized that the former senior pastor, the "Rev." Jeremiah Wright was, oh how shall I write this, colorful to say the least and that caused problems, he dropped his relationship with the "Rev." Wright like a hot piece of lead.
But I always will contend and in fact defend that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is a Christian. And he gave the most overt speech about his Christian walk ever.
However, this is the Dear Leader, President Obama. And giving a political speech any where, any time, any place is his modus operandi.
And today was no different.
The following directly from the speech transcript is astonishing in that somehow, Jesus is just cool with big government:

And so when I talk about our financial institutions playing by the same rules as folks on Main Street, when I talk about making sure insurance companies aren't discriminating against those who are already sick, or making sure that unscrupulous lenders aren't taking advantage of the most vulnerable among us, I do so because I genuinely believe it will make the economy stronger for everybody. But I also do it because I know that far too many neighbors in our country have been hurt and treated unfairly over the last few years, and I believe in God's command to "love thy neighbor as thyself." I know the version of that Golden Rule is found in every major religion and every set of beliefs -- from Hinduism to Islam to Judaism to the writings of Plato.

OK.
I am just trying, I really am, to find in the Holy Bible where it calls for big government to justify "Love thy neighbor as thyself".
It is because it is not there in the Holy Bible.
And here is a counter-passage from the Gospel of Matthew, 6: 1-4 that may trump the above assertion:

“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

It is relevant because our Dear Leader, President Obama, continues:

And when I talk about shared responsibility, it's because I genuinely believe that in a time when many folks are struggling, at a time when we have enormous deficits, it's hard for me to ask seniors on a fixed income, or young people with student loans, or middle-class families who can barely pay the bills to shoulder the burden alone. And I think to myself, if I'm willing to give something up as somebody who's been extraordinarily blessed, and give up some of the tax breaks that I enjoy, I actually think that's going to make economic sense.

You see, if one looks at the government in the welfare business, they are indeed puffing themselves up about all the wonderful things that they do for the less fortunate. And government welfare is a form of charity. Yes, it is. The fact is that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is looking for a pat on the back from Almighty God for advocating taking money from people, the supposed eeeeevvvvviiilllll rich, have it pass through the government, and then distribute it as it sees fit.
The biblical tithe of 10% of one's income is not for the government. It really is not. It is to give to the church to help those less fortunate. Oh, I know that there is Jesus saying render onto Caesar what is Caesar's and render onto God what is God's. But I do not think that Jesus really cared about American tax policy circa 2012.
But to use the National Prayer Breakfast to recite a laundry list of policies of the Dear Leader, President Obama, is just plain bizarre.
But wait, it really is not.
Because it fits into a view of Christianity that has been rightly summed up by Glenn Beck.
Collective Salvation.
While he did touch on his own personal relationship with Christ and about one's individual salvation, he really believes in Collective Salvation. It is not enough to have is own relationship with Christ. Everyone has to be the beneficiary whether they do or not. It is also the umbrella in which social justice is promulgated in Mainline Protestant churches. You know. Like Jesus was cool because he was for the poor. And he hated the rich people. All that kind of stuff.
I want to sum this up with this wisdom from Tina Korbe over at HotAir.com.
She is right.
It is tricky to use the Holy Bible to political problems. And it is done by both conservatives and liberals. It should be a guide to how one lives their life. That is a no-brainer for any Christian. But it should not be about how one can spiritually justify building the Socialist Utopia.
And this from Miss Korbe sums it up beautifully:

Yes, Jesus is acutely concerned with issues of authority and also with issues of wealth and poverty — but it all proceeds from the basic assumptions that authority comes from His Father and that the spiritual, in general, has primacy over the material. That is, Jesus’ injunctions to His followers to give everything they have to the poor proceed from the idea that whatever stands in the way of loving Him has got to go. It’s about His glory, not about the creation of some utopian society. Those who make Jesus’ teachings about the latter and not the former miss the major point His life, death and resurrection make.

But politicians always seem to make a mess of what the Holy Bible really means.
Too bad this one uses it to justify very bad decisions and governing.

Yeah, It Is Countdown Time

And no, it is not about Keith Overbite and his show on what is it again? Current TV?!
It is about the new widget on the sidebar.
It is the Obama Countdown Clock.
It will be there until 12:00 noon, January 20, 2013 when there will be the peaceful transfer of power. From the Dear Leader, President Obama to the Republican victor. Who ever he or she may be.
For you that love and worship the Dear Leader, President Obama, read it and weep.
For those of us that do not like his policies and want to see a real change, keep you eye on that. For that is what we are in this for. To end the Obamanation and restore representative republican democracy.
Enjoy the Countdown!

Is George Will Kidding?

You know that someone has been inside the Washington beltway too long when you get a column like this from George Will.Really?
We conservative Republicans should just aim for control of congress?
And yeah, so what that the United States is an exporter of petroleum?
Whiskey! Tango! Foxtrot!
The problem with Mr. Will is that if one party does control the executive and legislative branches, then similar policies will be voted on and implemented.
In this piece, Mr. Will essentially makes the case for divided government.
Yet some examples that Mr. Will does not point out is an under reported one.
The federal judiciary.
If we have, God forbid, another four years of the Dear Leader, President Obama and a Republican congress, will he suddenly appoint conservative Republicans to the benches? Not on your life, buddy. The Dear Leader, President Obama, will still appoint liberal judges. And they will demonize a Republican senate for either not voting for them or using time-honored senate procedures to block said nominations.
Really, we are talking the moderately, and I do mean moderately, conservative supreme court. Imagine that in divided government, Mr. Will. And to refresh your memory, it is a divided government that gave us, ta da! Anthony Kennedy.
And what about the slew of Executive Orders that this president would do to circumvent a Republican congress? And don't kid yourself. The Dear Leader, President Obama, is hellbent and determined to get his agenda through no matter what. And he will do anything to get there. So, divided government=Executive Orders.
Mr. Will ends his tome with some snark about the election not bringing some kind of apocalypse.
No, it won't usher in the apocalypse, but if we conservative Republicans do not win both the legislative and executive branches, policies will still emanate from the White House either way. And they can be good, conservative ones. Or bad, liberal ones.
But to dismiss a potential reelection by the Dear Leader, President Obama by a conservative no less shows that this one, George Will, has no idea about what is going on outside the Washington Beltway. After all, even though I got the link from The Boston Herald, he does write his column for the Washington Post.

Finally The Dear Leader Is WORSE Than President Jimmah Carter

WOW! Only three plus years into the era of the Dear Leader, President Obama, and he has actually accomplished something amazing.
The Dear Leader, President Obama, is the worst president at this stage of his presidency in my 47 years on God's Green Earth.
Well, the Dear Leader, President Obama, is worst in standing with the American people according to the latest polling from Gallup.
This is a daily tracking poll from Gallup. And it is 1,500 adults. Not registered voters. Not registered likely voters. Just 1,500 American adults.
The really bad thing about this is that if is was narrowed down, the numbers for the Dear Leader, President Obama, would more than likely be worse.
The fact is that the Dear Leader, President Obama, has been consistently underwater with the American people according to Gallup. If you go the link and scan over the chart, the last time the Dear Leader, President Obama, has been anywhere near 50% was the period over May 24-26. Since then, it has been all downhill.
So, if one wants to drink Obamaade and believe that this is all a mirage and he will top the results of 2008, take a peek at this from U. S. News and World Report.
The previous worst president of my life time, President Jimmah Carter, was at 51% at this point before the total tsunami of one Ronald Wilson Reagan in 1980.
In the link, Paul Bedard points out the trifecta of losers of the modern era were Presidents Carter, Gerald R. Ford and Harry S Truman. And only Mr. Truman pulled out a win in 1948. And yeah, Team Obama thinks that it is going to do the same thing this time around.
But I submit that it is Not. Going. To. Happen.
The economy is not going to drastically improve enough for the Dear Leader, President Obama, to take any credit. In fact, the economy is not exactly humming along at record growth.
Team Obama is pointing to stellar Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Yet according to this article, about half of Americans worry that they will not be able to afford Christmas this year. It could be that the two big shopping days of the year maybe all she wrote. Not a way to go into a presidential campaign, eh?
Something to consider is that the only president that had a positive rating at this stage and lost his reelection bid was George H. W. Bush.
But even more daunting is the focus of evil in the modern Democrat world, George W. Bush had a 55% positive rating this point before winning his reelection campaign.
So it is a possibility that the Dear Leader, President Obama, can pull it off. He will have a lot of advantages.
But he has to hope for something fast to turn things around. Because I do not believe that Team Obama is going to win in states like Indiana, North Carolina and Virginia this time around. And I think that they will have a lot of trouble keeping states like Iowa, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin. Oh yeah, in the mid term elections, these states went right and Republican big.
If this daily Gallup poll is not showing signs of life in the next three months, it will take a miracle for Team Obama to win reelection.
And they know it.
But for now, fellow conservative Republicans, relish the fact that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is worse than Jimmah Carter.
Can you smell loser?

Time For Some Psychobabble On The Dear Leader

OK, usually I do not like to delve into such things. I mean, after all, I am not a professional in psychology, psychiatry, anything in the world of mental health.
But I have just thought about the Dear Leader, President Obama and how he is kind of sort of willing to lose and election to pursue an ideological agenda.
But before we go on, let me observe something about the Dear Leader, President Obama.
Does it not annoy the hell out of you when you see photos like this of the Dear Leader, President Obama?

Annoying, is it not? I mean, what is up with the head-cock action and the I-am-better than thou look? Does it not kind of remind you of another guy, some Italian fellow from the last century. Hmm, who could I be thinking of?

YEAH! That Benito Mussolini fellow. The former il duce of Italy. The man that began the original Axis of Evil in the 1920s.
Now before any one goes off and thinks that I am equating the Dear Leader, President Obama, with the brutal Italian dictator Mussolini, I am not. Per se.
The Dear Leader, President Obama, and Mussolini have a certain style.
That is the similarity.
Take a recent comment the Dear Leader, President Obama, said recently about dealing with congress on the issue of so-called comprehensive immigration "reform":

"As I mentioned when I was at La Raza a few weeks back, I wish I had a magic wand and could make this all happen on my own. There are times where -- until Nancy Pelosi is speaker again -- I'd like to work my way around Congress."

Yeah, when the opposition is in control, the real feelings come out. Imagine if former President Bush 43 made a similar comment? We all know that the Obamawhore media would go bat-ape crazy.
How about the latest from the Dear Leader, President Obama. The so-called "jobs bill" Our Dear Leader, President Obama, wants a bill passed that, until last week, did not even exist. Even better is when he stepped out into the White House Rose Garden last week, he waved around a "bill" with a huge paperclip to hold the 155 pages together. At least it was not 2,000 as the so-called health care "reform" bill.
The attitude that the Dear Leader, President Obama, shows is not that of the elected leader of the world's great superpower. But that of some strongman like Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. One that looks at the legislative branch of government as all but unnecessary. That they should just rubber-stamp what he wishes.
And when the Democrats ran congress, well they acted like that.
A rubber-stamp.
Where was the discourse?
But back to the so-called "jobs bill".
Funny how it turns out that we need to tax the filthy, eeeeevvvvviiilllll rich to pay for it.
And to cut the federal budget deficit? Again, we need to tax the filthy, stinking eeeeevvvvvviiilllll rich.
The fact is, there is nothing about the Dear Leader, President Obama, that a good ol' tax hike won't fix.
That is the thrust of this president.
He wants to show his base that yeah, I'm the dude that stuck it to the rich. Yeah, I told you I would raise their taxes.
And to hear the Dear Leader, President Obama, tell it, all about "fairness". That the eeeeevvvvviiilllll, filthy, stinking rich need to pay their "fair" share. After all, they have all this money. What do they need it for? What?! To start business? Expand business? Hire people? Nah, we need to take their money, expand the government and we will hire the people.
And this, my friends, is the mindset of a socialist.
Yeah, a lot of fellow conservatives think that it is harsh and a bit over the top to refer to the president of the United States as a socialist. But what other conclusion can one come to? Why is he still pushing some kind of tax hike, any kind of tax hike, while the United States economy is on the verge of a double-dip recession?
Because it is not about the economy.
It is about the fundamental transformation of America.
That is the psychobabble.
That our president is at heart a socialist. One who believes that the so-called eeeeevvvvviiilllll, filthy, stinking rich are bad. That the only good comes from a large government.
It is why he must be defeated in the next election.
And with his stellar poll numbers, that may be easier than we would have thought even a month ago.

Will The Dear Leader Be Forced Out Of Reelection Bid?

It is an intriguing question and the short answer is no way, no how.
No way, no how that the Dear Leader, President Obama, will be asked to step aside and another Democrat (one assumes Hilary Clinton) run in his place.
The latest gossip on this is courtesy of The American Spectator's John Fund.
The reason it is not going to happen is, dare I say it, obvious because why would this happen to the first Black president in American history? Why would he be pushed aside? Other presidents have been in trying circumstances. In fact, this is always promoted when things are bad.
Does anyone not think when it looked bleak and ominous for one Ronald Reagan in 1983 that this was not thought about?
Now, the gossip website Gawker is reporting that the Dear Leader, President Obama, is suffering from depression. Well, who would not be given his current political situation?
Again, sorry to play the race card, but who is going to be the one or ones to tell the Dear Leader, President Obama, to step aside and anoint Mrs. Clinton your successor?
No one publicly or privately.
That is a dream of the Democrat establishment.
Many an establishment Dem is looking ahead and realizing that 2012 is probably going to be a bloodbath. But somehow, they can save the presidency if only St. Hilary is handed the reins of the Democrat party?
It is a lousy idea that will totally divide the party and cooler heads realize it.
The best that can be hoped for is that it will not be a total bloodbath. That the GOP nominate, hell Crazy Uncle Ron Paul and it saves the Dear Leader, President Obama's bacon.
This is all on the Dear Leader, President Obama. He will have to win or lose his reelection bid.
And no amount of gossip or wishful thinking is going to change that.
But I do agree with Allahpundit.
That his question about preventing a Democrat schism if this were to occur.
That is why it will not happen.
So wishful Dems, get through to November 2012, see what happens and then have the internal bloodbath begin.
Because no one but the voters will force out the Dear Leader, President Obama.

Finally! The Dear Leader Is Sucking Even In California

Well, it appears that the Hopey Changy thingy that drove 61% of California voters to the arms of the Dear Leader, President Obama, is losing it's luster here in the once Golden State.
And that is according to the latest Field Poll that shows the Dear Leader, President Obama, only getting a 46% positive rating. And only 49% would actually vote to reelect him at this time.
In seemingly perpetual Blue California, these have got to be alarming numbers.
And particularly after last night's Republican blowout in the New York state ninth congressional special election, this has got to worry Team Obama and California Democrats in particular.
But when you look at this graphic, it can not be a good sign for the Democrats.
Sure, their groups such as Blacks, Hispanics are still in the Dear Leader, President Obama's corner. But look at the loss of support. Among Black Californians the Dear Leader, President Obama, has lost 12% and only has 78% support. Hispanics, still continue to support the Dear Leader, President Obama and he has negligible loss of support with only three percent. Among Asians the Dear Leader, President Obama, has suffered his worst drain of support. A fully 16% loss of support. Only 48% of Asians are in the Dear Leader, President Obama's corner.
And in the political groupings, the Dear Leader, President Obama, has lost 10% of fellow Democrat support and only 69% of Democrats support him today. The Republicans are basically unchanged with 78% opposing the Dear Leader, President Obama. And the independent voters are essentially even, with the Dear Leader, President Obama, losing 13% of support.
And only 49% would even want to reelect the dude, in California, shows that the Republicans have a once-in-blue-moon chance to pull off an upset in this state.
If conventional wisdom holds out, the only time candidates of either party will pay attention to California will be to get cash infusions.
The Democrats will take it for granted and the Republicans will not even try.
That thinking has to change for the Republicans.
Whoever the GOP presidential nominee is needs to have a 50 state strategy. Period.
Anything less gives the Democrats a glimmer of hope.
It means that the California Republican party needs to make a serious effort at this time.
It needs to be anywhere and everywhere to register new voters. It needs to get its elected officials, few that there are, a lot of face time. They need to emphasize that nothing will change for California or the United States until there is new leadership. It needs to be very serious about candidate recruitment. Not some star-power "savior" that many thought Benedict Arnold Schwarzenegger was to be. No, it needs to have a serious candidate to run against Sen. Diane Feinstein. I make the case that Congressman David Dreier would be that kind of candidate. But it is an effort that needs to be done yesterday.
The numbers are going to Republican favor. But we need to capitalize on it.
In other words, we need to put California in play in 2012.
If the Democrats have to spend time and money to keep California in their column, then it is a bad sign for the party.
Oh, one more thing about the Field Poll is that it is perceived to be a polling group that favors Democrats. If that is the case, the numbers may be even worse. And it is of registered voters, not likely voters. Again, that usually favors Democrats.
Although the Suckramento Bee goes to great legnths to tout a bad poll favorably to the Dear Leader, President Obama, the reality is that his numbers suck. And to suck like this over a year from election day, it is not a good sign. It is something the Republicans need to really think about. Making California at least a competitive if not a swing state.
The suckage of the Dear Leader, President Obama, has finally hit California. And it will not get any better very soon.
