This little ditty from The Corner at National Review Online:
From the New York Times corrections page:
An article on May 4 about black liberation theology and the debate surrounding the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr, Senator Barack Obama’s former minister, erroneously confirmed a statement by Mr. Wright that the United States has used biological weapons against other countries. There is no evidence that the United States ever did so. (Go to Article)

Thank goodness for that one. Although not a direct gaffe from the erstwhile rookie senator from Illinois, here is another good one:
[Obama] did express curiosity about the filming of a chase scene in "North by Northwest," Alfred Hitchcock's 1959 classic starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint that included a death-defying scramble over Rushmore's presidential faces.
"How did they get up there in the first place?" he asked ranger Wesley Jensen.
"They didn't. It was a movie set," Jensen told him.
Now, I know that Sen. Barack was not a movie actor before he became the secular Messiah, but if he had simple knowledge of such a classic movie, he would not have asked such an insipid question. I will just assume that this classic never makes the rounds with his friends in San Francisco. You know, the ones he shared his view on a large swath of the American voter, i.e. the Bitter People. Or maybe, because there were way to many white people that it may have not made the Trinity United Church of Christ movie recommendation section in the Sunday bulletin.
Who knows?!
I think that Sen. Barack is doing something called the duck and cover over his sudden leaving his spiritual home for over 20 years, TUCC. Hmm, maybe that was 20 years of gaffes!
