Elizabeth Lauten, The Obama Daughters And Obamawhore Media Bias

Say, before this past weekend, had you ever heard of Elizabeth Lauten?
No?! Neither had I.
But by today, most Americans have heard of her, know at least something about a Facebook post she recently wrote about the daughters of our Dear Leader, President Obama. And that is Malia and Sasha Obama. And because she is a Republican, she gained the righteous wrath of the Obamawhore media.
So who is this Elizabeth Lauten gal?
Until last Monday, she was the communications director of Republican congressman Steven Fincher (R-Tenn.). Before that she was a press aide to former Illinois GOP congressman Joe Walsh and a was a PR gal before that.
Yeah, probably not the best one judging by this kerfuffle.
So, what was it that she wrote on her Facebook page that has the Obama cult and by extension the Obamawhore media?

Now I have read it several times and after the several times reading it, I come to the conclusion that this is a stream of conciseness post. This was not well thought out or something that Miss Lauten really planed to write. It is something we have all done on Facebook at one time or the other.
Before I go on, here is a photo of how Sasha and Malia Obama were dressed:

Well, sorry Miss Lauten, but the girls are dressed rather demure for girls their age in this photo. Sasha, on the right, IS wearing a short skirt, sure. But she is wearing tights and while you can't see them, booties.
On the other hand, Malia IS a little more daring. But again, for a girl of 13 years of age, it is also demure. Malia's sweater is rather long but the skirt, not so much. And what you don't really notice from this photo is that Malia is also wearing tights and booties.
But yeah, they look bored as hell. And maybe they are just sick of hearing their dad drone on and on and on as he is prone to do. So on that front, they are with the majority of Americans today.
Seriously, to the girls, he's dad. And they are probably thinking "When will he shut up and when are we gonna have some of the bird?"
So their daddy, the Dear Leader, President Obama, aka dad, turns to elicit some response and, as teen gals are prone to do, they sighed and or rolled their eyes.
The bottom line is that Miss Lauten made a mountain out of a non-eventful mole hill. I seriously believe that she meant well in her mind. That she thought more people would look at what transpired and think like her. How gauche the junior high school and high school daughters acted at a turkey pardoning.
But why, oh why did the Obamawhore media make a huge deal of this?
Well, where was this made a story?
In an online black website called The Root, which is a subsidiary of Salon.com, a horrible lefty website if there ever was one.
Here is a clue for people like Miss Lauten.
ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING that you put on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever, will be combed through with a beyond fine tooth comb.
While most of us may have never heard of The Root, they made themselves by finding this obscure gal and something silly she ranted on her Facebook page.
Thus, wisely I might add, they had the wherewithal to get a snapshot of the post and while they offered their editorial analysis, that it was a direct diss at the Dear Leader, President Obama, and his daughters.
The rest of the Obamawhore media went to town that this was clear racism, hate of the Obama's, questioning their parental skills, etc., etc.
Why The Washington Post, which seemed to not have enough staff to investigate such actual events as what really happened in Benghazi, the IRS scandal, and other assorted issues surrounding the Obama administration, they sent two reporters to dig as much dirt on Miss Lauten as possible. Why an erstwhile website such as The Smoking Gun, informed us that Miss Lauten was a really bad girl herself. That she was arrested for shoplifting when she was 16 years old. And Chris Cilliza of the Post said poor Miss Lauten had the worst week in Washington.
Needless to say, all of this unwanted publicity caused Miss Lauten to resign her post.
So did anyone ever fire Andrew Sullivan when he went into full conspiracy mode about who the real mother of Tripp Palin is? After all, he still to this day believes that Tripp Palin is not Sarah Palin's daughter but really oldest daughter Bristol Palin's first child. How about to this day all the coverage of the Palin children not on political matters but their behavior?
Did we hear scolding over People magazine and a cover of then President George W. Bushs' daughters, Barbara and Jenna and their partying ways? Look at what made the cover of People back when W was in the White House:

 

Their escapades made the cover of a gossip magazine.

I thought, according to the liberal left especially, that the children of presidents were off limits to the usual political clap trap and vitriol?

Well, only children when they are in the White House.

For those of us on the conservative side, we see that long running movie, Double Standard.

And it really is a double standard.

But in this particular case, it was a very well played Alinskyite move.

Target, and destroy.

And they did.

The Obamawhore media made Miss Lauten and the possibility of latent racism the story.

Maybe they could read that Facebook post as I did and that it was not well thought out. That it was as I noted a stream of consciousnesses post that may have been written by Miss Lauten with an eye on her own past.

Nope, when it suited their purposes, they willingly used the Obama girls to make a point and destroy a beyond low-level Republican aide.

Miss Lauten has learned a hard lesson and the Obamawhore media has become more and more predictable.

Dissent in Obama's America will not be tolerated. 

Desperate Obamawhoring

OK, I will be the first to admit that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee has not had the best couple of weeks. The reasons will be addressed in another post.
This post is about the Leftywhore/Obamawhore media (one in the same, folks) and their shilling for the Dear Leader, President Obama.
In this article in today's Left Angeles Times here is another case in point.
It is about wind energy in Iowa.
Well, it is really about how Mr. Romney wants to let a wind-energy tax credit expire and supposedly this is the issue that will turn against Mr. Romney.
And the article says that many conservatives are upset with Mr. Romney's position. Why the article even has extensive thoughts from a Rob Hach. And the article dutifully notes Mr. Hach is a "life-long Republican". And whats more, he is sooo mad at Mr. Romney that he will vote for the Dear Leader, President Obama, in the fall election. Later in the article it claims that Mr. Hach is a conservative. And further more, he does not want a handout.
OK, a couple of things.
When the Leftywhore/Obamawhore media use the term "life-long Republican", it is immediately to be suspect. They just take what someone says at face value. Most of the time, it will turn out that the so-called "life-long Republican" is more or less not a conservative and one that has on more than one occasion voted for a Democrat.
And when one claims to be  a conservative, says that they do not want a government handout and yet ate at the front of the line for a tax credit, this is not a conservative. In fact, the article says this about people like Mr. Hach:

Wind advocates say they just need a few more years of government help to get the industry on its feet.

Really?!
Did the automakers back in the day need government to help it along? Hey, how about airplanes? Radios? One can go on and on.
If the wind industry needs such help, it is probably not ever going to get off it's knees let alone on their feet.
To be fair, the article did point  out that there are Iowa voters that don't care about wind tax credits.
There were quite a lot of people out to see Mr. Romney this past Wednesday and many shared the views of a small businessman, Chris Bobst:

"I think they should eliminate all tax credits. I own a small business. When it isn't working out, no one bails me out."

Bingo! Give this dude a cigar! He is spot on!
As a Republican and conservative, I believe that Mr. Bobst represents what the party really believes. Mr. Hach believes in a pipe dream. One that the federal government can not afford at this time with looming deficits and debt so far out that the eyes of all Americans can not see it.
But the thrust of the Times article is that see, Mr. Romney is turning off his own base. Why "life-long Republicans" are not only going not vote for him, but some will vote against him.
It is one of the oldest Leftywhore/Obamawhore media tricks. It is trotted out almost on cue every election cycle.
However, what is almost never reported is a story the other way. About disgruntled Democrats. How they are not happy with their leader. How some "life-long Democrats" will not vote in November. Or even some that will vote for the Republican.
Nope, never see those stories, do you?
It is as I wrote in the headline.
Desperate Obamawhoring.
It is not serious reporting and or analysis. If it where then there would be a similar article about the Democrats. But rarely is there one.
And note this because it is very important.
Republicans usually need more Democrats to vote for them than Democrats need Republicans to vote for them.
So there has to be disgruntled Democrats.
It is too bad that the so-called mainstream media seems to never notice that.
It is always and only about disgruntled Republicans.

Has The Obamawhore Media Jumped The Shark?

You know, just when one thinks that the Obamawhore media can not get any more worshipful for their Messiah, The Dear Leader, President Obama, it appears that why yes they can.
Tucker Carlson over at The Daily Caller in this expose on the Obamawhore media "watchdog" group, Media Matters, has this little story of how one of the flunkies, Karl Frisch, sent out a memo that, to cut to the chase, laid the ground work to take down the Fox News Channel.
I kid you not my friends, this was their strategery to do just that:

“Simply put, the progressive movement is in need of an enemy. George W. Bush is gone. We really don’t have John McCain to kick around any more. Filling the lack of leadership on the right, Fox News has emerged as the central enemy and antagonist of the Obama administration, our Congressional majorities and the progressive movement as a whole.”

“We must take Fox News head-on in a well funded, presidential-style campaign to discredit and embarrass the network, making it illegitimate in the eyes of news consumers.”

“We should hire private investigators to look into the personal lives of Fox News anchors, hosts, reporters, prominent contributors, senior network and corporate staff.” .

“We should look into contracting with a major law firm to study any available legal actions that can be taken against Fox News, from a class action law suit to defamation claims for those wronged by the network. I imagine this would be difficult but the right law firm is bound to find some legal ground for us to take action against the network.”

“An elaborate shareholder campaign. This can take many forms, from a front group of shareholders, to passing resolutions at shareholder meetings or massive demonstrations are [sic] shareholder meetings.”

“We should also hire a team of trackers to stake out private and public events with Fox News anchors, hosts, reporters, prominent contributors and senior network/corporate staff.”

“If we need to buy tickets for events that these people will be speaking at, so be it.”

"Mailing anti-Fox News literature to their homes and placing yard signs and outdoor advertising in their neighborhoods.”

“Fox is likely to retaliate. Media Matters should find ways to protect the privacy of our employees and the security of our office.”

Whiskey? Tango? Foxtrot?
Where does one begin?
Well, the obvious is that Media Matters is really scared of FNC. So scared that they were ready to pretty much do anything and everything to bring the network down.
But what fascinates me is the opening graph in this memo.
The fact that the Obamawhore media was actively looking for enemies. That they had such little confidence in their guy that they looked for an enemy. Or a very big fish in FNC. And why did they look to FNC as an enemy?
The fact is that the left looks at FNC the way many conservatives look at the major media. As an enemy. The Obamawhore media really thinks that FNC gets it marching orders from the Republican National Committee.
FTR, I did not think that the Leftywhore media was coordinating itself.
Until Team Obama came to Washington.
With the leftywhore Jornolist of Ezra Klein to the open fawning of the Dear Leader, President Obama, by what should be objective journalists, and now this, one can not help but think that the Leftywhore media has decided to throw any pretense of objectivity out the window.
Take some seemingly random situations and one can see that hmm, maybe there was as much as a coordinated effort between Media Matters and the White House to try to discredit FNC.
For instance, how about former White House aide, Anita Dunn? Remember her tirade against FNC on third-place "rival", Cable News Network? She went on to lambaste FNC as some arm of the GOP.
HA! If only.
Oh, don't forget that Mrs. Dunn somehow was able to wrap Red China founder Mas Tse-tung and Mother Teresa as two of her favorite political philosophers.
Choice.

Remind me when FNC and conservative media coordinated the line of attack with the George W. Bush White House?
Oh, I know you will cite some radio talk show hosts visiting the White House. Well too bad that did not go over all that well. Many of these hosts turned against then President Bush pretty quick on many issues.
The fact is that Media Matters, the media Axis of Evil in Washington, D. C., New York City and Los Angeles, and what I call collectively as the Obamawhore media have been thoroughly exposed.
And guess what?
FNC is still going strong, grounding two legacy media outlets, MSNBC and CNN, into near oblivion.
The problem with these groups is that when there is another point of view, people will watch, read or listen. And yet they have a real hard time accepting the marketplace. That the very free media, free from government control and or manipulation, can not be so if they are in bed with the people that they may like.
Thus The Daily Caller in exposing Media Matters has cemented and made it clear.
There really is an Obamawhore media.

Rick Santorum And Their Family New Fodder For Obamawhore Media

Keep this in mind folks. That the same media that ignored then Sen. Messiah Barack and his sitting in the pews of an Afro-centered, racist church, seem to have problem attacking Rick Santorum and his family for the way they dealt with a family tragedy.
In 1996, Karen Santorum was pregnant and in the 20th week of pregnancy developed an infection. According to the link, it was a life-threatening infection to Mrs. Santorum. Already with name in mind, Mrs. Santorum had little Gabriel Santorum. But he only lived two hours out of the womb.
It was without a doubt a horrible tragedy for the family to endure.
But, it is their strong Roman Catholic faith that helped them endure. And it was doing something to remember that Gabriel was a human being, albeit but a brief moment in time. Rick and Karen did not just take Gabriel to the funeral home. They stayed with the lifeless baby all night and the next day they took the now lifeless body home so that their children would know that indeed, for a moment in time, they did have a brother. Here is an account that was published in The New York Times Magazine from a 2005 interview with then Sen. Santorum:

"Rick and Karen Santorum would not let the morgue take the corpse of their newborn; they slept that night in the hospital with their lifeless baby between them. The next day, they took him home. 'Your siblings could not have been more excited about you!' Karen writes in the book, which takes the form of letters to Gabriel, mostly while he is in utero. 'Elizabeth and Johnny held you with so much love and tenderness. Elizabeth proudly announced to everyone as she cuddled you, "This is my baby brother, Gabriel; he is an angel."

For me I am moved to tears at the way that this family dealt with such a tragedy. That in fact and indeed, both Karen and Gabriel could have died. Yet it was the baby that died.
And this is noted in the book written by Mrs. Santorum Letters To Gabriel about her pregnancy and her maternal bond that should never be broken.
But, alas, in the scorched-earth policy of the fever swamps of the Obamawhore media, this is fair game.
In fact, to Alan Colmes, it is weird. Because they "took the baby home and played with it". Um, I do not think that any account says that mom, dad or the children "played" with the baby at all. They did bond with Gabriel and know in their minds and hearts that he was alive on this earth for a short time. But that he was a part of the family. It is worth watching both clips at the link to see the smugness and arrogance that Mr. Colmes shows in discussing the matter. And to see Mr. Santorum explain why they did what they did with Gabriel. Mr. Colmes had to later apologize to Mr. Santorum. As he should have done. He should have never brought this up as somehow a disqualifier to be president.
But I'll be damned if this is not getting further review from Obama Worshipping tool Eugene Robinson over at The Washington Post.
Mr. Robinson wades into the matter to discuss how "weird" it was for the Santorum's to deal with their loss the way that they did. Yet in the link to HotAir, Allahpundit gives us this advice from the American Pregnancy Association:

After the tests are completed, you will usually have the choice to spend time alone with your baby. You can find comfort in looking at, touching, and talking to your baby. Most parents find it helpful to make memories of this precious time that will last a lifetime…

With the loss of your baby, your family members will also grieve. Your baby is someone’s granddaughter, brother, cousin, nephew or sister. It is important for your family members to spend time with the baby. This will help them come to terms with their loss. If you have other children, it is very important to be honest with them about what has happened by using simple and honest explanations. It is your decision whether you would like the children to see the baby. Ask for a Child Life Specialist at the hospital; these are trained professionals who can help you prepare your children for the heartbreaking news, and prepare them to see the baby if you wish.

And in reading the actual website, it appears that this is a mainstream organization.
But I suppose not to Messrs Colmes and Robinson. No, lets see Mr. Robinson's words them self:

“That I think some Republicans are going to be off-put. Not everybody is going to be down, for example, with the story of how he and his wife handled the stillborn child whose body they took home to kind of sleep with and introduce to the rest of the family. It’s a very weird story.”

First, Mr. Robinson gets his facts wrong. But no matter. It is to tell a narrative. That Family Santorum is a bit out there. You know, because they actually loved their child so much that they were willing to have the baby, even at all the risks it carried with it.
And really Mr. Robinson, do you not realize that Republicans would be at the very least sympathetic to the Santorum family? I guess you just do not know real Republicans outside the Salons of Georgetown.
So what do I think?
Well, I have to say that grief is a matter that is different to people. It all depends on the situation.
I reacted differently to my parents death.
In 1985 my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Two-pack a day smoker of Chesterfield, unfiltered, cigarettes. Literally within six months to the day of diagnosis, my father died. My mother decided to have the body embalmed as it was decided that it would be an open-casket wake and funeral. Through my tears several times I touched my father's lifeless body. I spoke with him. He looked peaceful. So much better than in the hospital room less than two days before his death. It was a comfort.
On the other hand, when my mother died seven years later, it was rather a shock. She had heart bypass surgery and was recuperating at my brother's home near San Diego. Two weeks later she died. The last time that I saw her, her whole body was bruised and battered from the surgery. regrettably that is the last time I saw her. I did not want to see her in the funeral home. I just did not want to deal with the way she would look. We decided not to have any open casket and thus did not embalm her body.
But, by the time my mother died, I had become a Christian. And I had more of an understanding what death of this life meant.
But a baby, no matter how old it is, to die is the hardest thing. I do not know that I would not think the same as the Santorums. To let the other children know that the baby was alive. That they should see it. Touch it.
This is from one Tommy Christopher. It is overall a balanced piece and takes Messrs Colmes and Robinson to task for the way that they take advantage of a family tragedy and try to somehow make it a political issue.
The Obamawhore media sycophants are not going to leave anything unturned that might hurt their guy, the Dear Leader, President Obama. Anyone that maybe a threat will get unbelievable scrutiny. Yet their guy seems to skate on almost anything. And they will even take a tragedy and make it an issue. What disgusting people they are. But they are exposing themselves. And that is something in and of itself.
