Aw, Schucks! Fox Network Will Not Share In The 100 Days Obamagasm

I just can not believe that the Fox broadcast network would deny President Obama the coverage for the third news conference of the young presidency! Why, these people would deny President Obama saturation coverage of the greatest 100 days ever in the history of the world.
HOW DARE THEY!
Of course the left will go ballistic, but Fox Broadcasting is well within its right to chose not to show a press conference.
During the waning days of the Reagan administration, the three broadcast networks, ABC, CBS and NBC would not show what was deemed a major policy speech.
But, it is the fact that President Obama is hurting already hurting over-air networks by having press conferences in the middle of sweep periods in which all the networks lose money and advertising revenue that makes their financial year.
According The Live Feed, Fox Broadcasting moved the popular American Idol show to accommodate a "major" press conference of President Obama.
And, as noted, Fox News Channel and Fox Business will cover the Obamagasm live and in its entirety.
On Wednesday, I feel that I will have to wear a raincoat to avoid the Obamagasm, especially here deep in Blue California.
But, at least the Fox Broadcasting network will be a welcome diversion from the national Obamagasm.
Now, time to watch 24!

One more reason to like Fox. Really there is no sense in any network giving Obama so much free air time. Let him get his own program on Showtime or let him be pay per view. That way only the hardcore Obamaniacs would have to watch him and the rest of us could get on with our lives.

You might want to get some remedial help.

I can discern what I think is the nugget you've hidden within that fractured syntax - namely that it's more important for companies which have licensed the public airwaves to generate revenue from other companies pushing pimple cream and Hot Pockets than it is for them to broadcast, you know, the President of the United States taking questions, no matter how insipid, from the press.

In the battle between commerce and an informed electorate, commerce wins out, eh?

Then again, only idiots watch Fox "news" anyway, so nothing lost here, I suppose.

Also, thanks for the mental image of you walking around in a mid-calf length yellow raincoat and Sou'wester, dodging, but not always avoiding, streams of gooey ejaculate. That must be Orange County's version of the old game, 'Snap the Cracker.'

Happy spring to you an' the missus.

PS - You haven't written anything about torture. What's up with that?

It's funny how people choose to attack BUSINESSES that decide what they WANT TO DO. If an organization doesn't want to show someone, that is their right to do so.

Was there widespread coverage of the Darfur protests yesterday in DC? No. Why? Because the businesses chose not to do so.

FOX is just using their given right to show what they want. It's not their fault that Obama can't seem to get things right and has to go on air once a month to remind us that he's all hot air and no real policy.

Also, RV from LC, wanna exchange blog links? Goes for anybody else.

Thanks!

ABC, NBC and the insignificant one didn't broadcast EVERY Republican Presidential press conference? What are they, biased or something?
